industry association

At esa we have two main focuses. The first one is to make sure that we are providing our customers with the high quality service and accommodation that they deserve and the second is to present our employees with a great place to work.

We value every member of our team and feel it is important to reward them with many of the benefits that we offer. As well as this, as members of the Association of Serviced Apartment Providers (ASAP) we have a number of commitments that we always stick to. This means that our staff are rest assured that they are working for a fantastic company that enables them to take pride in their work and continuously develop new skills.

ASAP was founded in 2002 and is a group of more than 44 serviced apartment operators across the UK. They are now partnered with The Corporate Housing Providers Association (CHPA) and they both work together to ensure that guests travelling between the US and UK can always receive the high quality of service that they expect.

ASAP have a number of aims which include:

  • establishing a set of standards for serviced apartments and their operators
  • monitoring and auditing the performance of its members
  • promoting corporate housing and serviced apartments to both corporate accommodation buyers and agents. This can be done directly or via Association of Relocation Professionals (ARP) members
  • establishing, promoting and maintaining an acceptable code of conduct for all providers of serviced accommodation
  • attracting membership
  • raising awareness of serviced apartments as the preferred choice for business travellers
  • promoting and encouraging travellers and travel buyers for their own security, to work with member companies.

There is a strict criteria which companies must meet in order for a serviced apartment provider to become a member of ASAP. The code of conduct which officers of the company must sign up to states that esa must:

  • accurately represent our properties in all our domains
  • provide information to enable any client to communicate with the association to provide feedback on their experience of their stay with esa
  • ensure that wherever our properties are represented that it is clear we are the owner
  • partake in a quality programme which ensures the continual maintenance and improvement of the service that we are providing
  • do everything we can do to promote the serviced apartment industry through education.

Being a member of ASAP ensures that esa can provide benefits to both our staff and our clients. It means that we can offer quality, value, accountability and flexibility to everyone who works with us. It also means that we get to work with other like-minded serviced apartment providers who are all committed to providing a professional service to those looking for temporary corporate accommodation.
