history of esa - here's what we've been up to

Executive Serviced Apartments, esa, was established in early 2004 by founder and current Chief Executive, Charlie Turner.

Initially, esa just operated in Newbury where we built a strong client base and refined our product and service offering to ensure it was suitable for the needs of the corporate client. During this time, the busy Operations team was set up to provide housekeeping and maintenance services to our guests. A year later, our professional Client Relationship Management team was established at our main office to develop client relationships and enable us to respond to their current and future requirements.

During 2007, we continued to expand, so in response to demand from clients along the M4 corridor, esa launched in a number of new locations: Swindon, Maidenhead and Bracknell.  With this growth came the expansion of the Operations team and the establishment of the Guest Relationship Management.  These teams ensured that we were able to consistently improve our service to our clients and guests, which is always our principle aim.

We don’t like to get bored and we always want to deliver the best, so in 2009, esa set up a dedicated Client Reservations team to support all the existing locations as well as new locations in Slough, Windsor, Southampton, Basingstoke and Reading.

2010 saw yet further expansion on to the South Coast with new apartments launched in Bournemouth.  As esa continued to grow, the desire to continually improve our service led to the appointment of the Operations Manager and further growth of the Sales team.

What is more, 2011 has led to even further expansion with new locations offered on the South Coast in Poole and Portsmouth.  As you would expect, the esa team has also continued to grow with the expansion of the Operations and Sales teams.  See our structure now to see how far we’ve come.

So far we have nearly doubled the size of our portfolio year on year and now have a wide range of apartments across the South of England. Added to which we have a growing client base of major blue chip companies, national accommodation booking groups and relocation agents, plus working directly with local businesses and home owners
